I didn't like strange mercy as much as the other stuff but birth in reverse has me really excited

Especially after watching the video - I think she's all sorts of rad kickass awesome. But... I've never heard a song of her's that I liked at all. What should I be listening to, doods?!

Hmmm, that maybe depends on what other sort of music you're into as to what direction you should come at her music from. But I'll recommend some of my favourites that I think show some different styles off to see if that helps.

Hope so. Annie has said in recent interviews that the album is supposed to be way dancier, inspired by the Love This Giant project since she had never experienced people dancing to her music before that album and tour. I personally love this direction, always been a fan of the more beat oriented stuff shes done. (Fuckin' MARROW man!)

Agreed BitchPudding, all her dancier tracks and Love This Giant are probably all my favs so if the new album is following that direction it'll be coooool.

i always liked her slower stuff like landmines, and party. but any annie clark is goooooooooddddddd. i just fucking love her voice.

Aside from a soft spot for Depeche Mode that started in middle school, I'd rather listen to no music than 99.999999% of dance music. Hopefully she can still win me over on this one.

Yeah I thought it was great! I'm seeing her play in a few weeks. I was scared the album was gonna suck cause I hate that birth in reverse track but it doesn't suck so yay!

Ohhhh man that was a good show. In a goddamned cathedral for one thing so that was amazing. The choreography is really neat, she definitely picked up a few tricks from David Byrne!
