at the practice space its before my delay
at home its at the end for the neighbors
i have an ernie ball vp jr that i use all the time
i also have shitty rfx that works more like a light switch than a sooth swell that i put at the end sometime as a killswitch
if i think its gonna get real noisy
ive never noticed signal loss as far as volume level when the rfx gets plugged in

Actually as long as there's no heavy detuning going on, I've never had a problem tuning with some thick dirt (I've compared). fwiw.
I started using a volume pedal to go right before my looper. It's basically a necessity.
