Just turn the tone control down; you're ambient has to be as dark as your complicated soul for maximum feels.

Is there a reverb with an effects loop for the verb?

Cuz that'd be pretty fuckin neato.

It's gonna date like like yo momma when she was 16!

Bt srsly; It was kinda neat when you had to chain a few delays and maybe a wah and stuff to get those sounds out of pedals not designed for it. That was cool -TEN YEARS AGO!

And I hate your dream-pop band too! :animal:

Run it through Steven Hawking's voice synthesizer.

If you do that, it's like having a candy coating that you bite through, only discover there's no chocolate inside - only shit.

Shimmer = ass.

I like shimmer. It's like anything. Overdoing something makes you sick of it. In the 80's performers didn't use wah-wah because it was overdone in the 70's. So, of course, they overused rack chorus (I've always thought chorus sucks, regardless of stripe). Unlike wah-wah or rack chorus though, if you can point to an overuse of shimmer, you might have a point.

I'm not hearing an overuse of shimmer in today's popular music. I am hearing an overuse of auto-tune.

I'm usinge the revers octave up thing on my Superdelay a lot... but not really as a shimmer thing.
More like noise or something... oscillating fuzz like the AB-Synth or the Pocket Arcade > Superdelay revers octave up mode = :!!!: .

Also, I really want the Supernatural too but strictly for the spring mode.

I think it just another tool and I dig it if it's used creatively. I can see it being used by Devin Townsend or someone talented and creative who knows where to place synthy fx. Most of the fuck-tards out there suck at life and making music and overuse everything.
