I like to think of it as more of a support group. A group of people who support each others habits. :!!!: :excellent:

Sorta like a crackhouse.

We are here for you buddy! In fact, if the pre-sale wait time is too long, just tell Ken to send it direct to me - no worries! :thumb:

hahahahah

I'll try it out and then see how it goes. I'm interested in putting it before my Sovtek Muff to see what it does, and that octave almost sounds like a cocked-wah which I totally dig. BUT IF I DONT you know where it's going.

I totally commend Ken for all his screen printing. I heavily screen printed the past year in a studio, I can't imagine turning out all these pedals. They look soooo good all the time.

Awww, thanx gentleman, the feeling is mutual! Happy to be back, need to get around to posting some new shit I've been gathering the last few months.

Alright, so it came in last night. So far its pretty cool. I've found the bias knob to be kind of useless, but the switches are pretty cool. The fuzz of the first switch is nice and thick, vintage sounding. The second switch, the treble boost, does its job and adds some clarity. The octave switch really cuts on the output volume but I expected that. It's a pretty useful octave, I found it to be more unusal and cool sounding without the fuzz- its not something I've heard before, the clean octave up in that form. The last switch is a nice boost as well. I'll post clips when I actually have a few minutes, I only got to sit down with the STEP for about 15 minutes last night.

Got mine too, still getting accustomed obviously. Agreed on all points, esp the fact that the texture/bias knob ain't making much difference at all....

I did notice compression went up as the knob increased- it also cut bass
