Wow that's great ^
What are you using to record the drums?

I'll have more time to work on it next month when I'll be on vacation.
I've changed my computer since last time I recorded something.
I have to learn Cubase 5... and don't think there's any VST on my computer at the moment.
I might use Reason for the drums part.

Thanks!
My recording setup is kind of a clusterfuck right now... needed a mic for guitar recording, so I used an overhead from the drums... so I recorded the whole thing with only one overhead... so the cymbals sound kinda silly... bassdrum sounds way to boomy, need to reposition the mic.
But for overall recording I normally use 2 overhead mics, a bassdrum mic, two or three snare mics (I have two snares) and three tom mics for the toms. That all into a Behringer Mixer and from the recording outputs into a Behringer U-Control U222 USB interface into my laptop. On my laptop I use Audacity to record.

If you want I could record you some drums, just let me know what you want/need.

having issues?

I have had issues where the program corrupted it's self and had to be reinstalled. Also we did some sound tests and Logic actually colors the sound quite a bit. Also also, Logic doesn't work as nice with virtual instruments as other programs, we've had a lot of hassle with it and ivory in particular.

I'm his alt. I'll take over. ;)

(Just send all your instruments, pedals and tinkering talent my way, muddy, I'll take care of the rest.)

I'll let you know if I need some drums track, but I might do some electro beat or something.

I need to RE-learn those software first (thats a good things, I was kinda lazy since a while).

Probably sometimes next month. :!!!:

Caner - to me, everything we do here is fair game for anybody on ILF. it's all just fun and shit.

Everybody Else - fuck YESH. thanks y'all for fucking around with this shit. i so needed this. it's been forever since i sat down and played with sequencing just for fun. my last band..... kinda ruined sequenced stuff for me. this brings it all back to being a giddy teenager trading access time in the audio lab. miss those days. even though, realistically, i have like 10 times the stuff now...... it was still so...... pristine back then.

anyhoo, here's a quick fuck-around from me......

[soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/noiseisgo/mudfuzz-schlatte-behndy-01[/soundcloud]

the first part all the non drums are tweaking with a small section of Mudzy's awesome bass grinder, i didn't do much but loop Schlatner's first guitar line because it's just so damn BEAUTIFUL. the rest is drum silliness and i played two lines at the end. i LAHK it.

you guys ROKK.
