Interesting! And Crimson Drive coming back! WANT. HARD. And Hoofreaper finally with a footswitchable Octave-Up. Damn, perhaps i sell my old one to get the new one.

What do you mean, previous run? Don't think I've ever seen a Talons before. and it says $195, which is kind of steep but I'm still interested.
I think it's steep in comparison to EQD's other ODs but that's more a result of them being stupidly well priced. There's a butt load of OD's round the 200 ish mark. If the circuit has a fair measure of originality I'm prepared to say that's a fair price. Lotsa "been there and done that" on the OD market.
And yes, "previous run" is not computing for me either. Then again, jskadiang knows gear so I'm interested to know the scoop.

That’s quarter-assed at best.
I know $195 is kind of steep for an overdrive pedal but you have to factor in dealer cost sometimes. About 99% of our sales are to dealers and we make about 60% of what the retail price is off each pedal. A lot of our pedals either just break even or actually lose money (I'm looking at you speaker cranker and ghost echo), we only make our living on about 1/2 of our pedals. We pay all our employees well and offer full coverage medical/dental/life/disablity insurance (as well as taxes, rent, etc..). Just know that any profit that comes in is going to a good place that works hard.
I think we're all probably a little spoiled by the bargain that is EQD...they're a good deal at full retail, and for us to have the opportunity to buy some of the best pedals in production direct at blem and xmas sales for less than they cost used is pretty frickin' amazing.
Top it off with awesome customer service and killer graphics and finishes...yes please...
