Re: great fuckin' deal thread!!!
GC's used site has been the home of many a deal for me.
Seen, shit you not, $249 Fender Mustangs (I got one just a bit over that) - guitars, not the amps, $400 Classic Player Jaguars (bought that one, etc.
Music-go-Round isn't awful either if you're patient, they just don't have as much volume.
My Space Echo was well under four bills.
Not the RE-20, but a tape-based one in fine, serviceable condition with multiple extra tape loops.

There's a dude on here who's name escapes me, who picked up my dream looper , an Echoplex Digital Pro PLus, for $250. He's a good dude though.
Still, I had some low key hating happening when I first heard of that!

I bought an Echoplex Ep1 for $100 about 12 years ago. I had to sell it to pay rent about 3 years later

Snagged an EHX Memory Man W/ Boost (one of the first memory man desings) for $50... later saw them on ebay for about $400.
Sold it though eventually for once again no where near value.

Re: deal of the century thread!!!
All mine are amps, I never seem to get a "SCORE!" on cool pedals or geets.
I got my Laney GH50L in a big pile of craigslist stuff, which I then sold all of except for a Korg multi-fx pedal, making the Laney free + refurb money, and the Korg free.
Traded a mexi-Tele that I had @ $200 into for my Traynor BassMaster YBA-1.
Traded a $75 acoustic guitar for my Handsome Devil combo.
Trade + Refurbed a Crate Vintage Club 50 for about $125, and recently traded that for a Korg Electribe drum machine + @ 8 hours of studio time.

I just did that last week. Mines not exactly pristine, but it sounds rad.
I also got my 70s Small Stone for $70. I dunno if that's such an amazing deal, but it was well worth it to me.

TEAC A-2300SD reel-to-real, AKAI 4000DS reel-to-real, and an Echoplex EP-3.
$30 for all three off my local list.

But ... I just read on another forum a guy who got an original Rangemaster at a car boot sale for £1.50 ... just sold it on fleabay for £1500 (that's about $2500).
That is the deal of the century
