My v1 went fucking nuts with noise when volume knob hit a certain, useable range. The v2 hardly ever makes a peep but I'd sweat it pretty hard live.

Yeah, same here. I just kept v1 on the one board and slapped v2 on the other board

Start selling them, now....like NOW before a lot of people read this thread.....or wait a few months a go to talkbass. Things take a few months to reach talkbass.

I will follow suit this time by keeping v2 and adding Deluxe.

Put my Second Voice up for grabs on TB and no PM's yet. 200+ views, no PM's. Sigh.

I just listed my V1 2nd Voice on ebay. I, too, bought the CV SV in April (along with a Faye Sing in chrome!!!). I can't wait to see what features the Deluxe has though. I may just have to add it too.

It's gonna be good! I'll repeat myself for emphasis....

Some specific Deluxe SV deets/planned features:

"The main things I'd like to add to the deluxe SV are a filter and a
dedicated octave down that can be used in addition to the harmony. The
heart of the Second Voice is a circuit made up of a PLL and two
divider ICs which is much more complicated than needed for simple
octave down. A dedicated, simpler circuit section for that would give
better tracking and let folks get fat suboctave AND other harmonies
instead of one or the other.

Also, I intend to eliminate the rest of the circuit noise, make the
blend go full wet/dry, and possibly add an external control for
gate/sustain.

Further, it really depends on what I can fit in the box but I'd like
to add a jack to interface with the external Faye's Her controllers to
enable CV control of Range and filter sweeps and to individually
toggle the harmony and suboctave"
