I haven't read the thread because I'm lazy, but Vessels and Russian Circles are both good! Both bands that I hadn't really listened to before seeing live and they blew me away.

whoa, thanks a ton dudes! it's pretty awesome that there's people here that like what we do. I've actually been a long time lurker here, mostly just keeping an eye on the B/S/T. we have a new full length all finished up, so we'll be posting some new tunes soon. I'll post something here when we do, thanks again!

They're alright, seen them live a couple of time but they're very sameish and very EITS steally
Heirs are a great Aussie PR band though.
As for topic, check out Braveyoung. PR is a bit broad and most PR try not to use that term, I do think that the best PR bands are the ones that use it in other sub genres, like Doom, Prog and Black.
Need to use post rock sparingly and Mogwai is the best PR band
