Portal and Impetuous Ritual are sweet. If you like them you'd like Mitochondrian also.
The band Thou is more on the doom side, but I feel like they almost have a black metal thing going on sometimes.

yeah, i recently saw a live video of them doing a nirvana cover. fucking cool as shit, but i didn't sense any blackness. i will have to check them out more.
everyone should take a look at this though. totally indescribable...but elements of black metal are there for sure.

Check out the album Tyrant. I think there is definitely some black metal vibe - although don't expect to hear straight black metal. You should hear the influence though.

Impetuous Ritual is a bit deathy for my tastes, but some of the portal stuff is pretty mind blowing though.
me liiike. this is more along the lines of what i'm looking for.

This is what I listen to when I hate everything and everyone. It is extremely depressing black metal. The lead singer is kind of atrocious, in a good way. He sounds like Gollum being stabbed to death slowly. He is also insane, literally.
