btw, I dont think this will quite replace the rang III, 2880 or whatever. sure it can be used as a basic floor looper (think hazarai basic), but my itnent is to make something to manipulate loops. a knob-twiddler's looper, so to speak. take a loop, then stretch/mangle it into something different. none of that... justrecord phrase and overdub stuff, though I suppose it can do that too.

that middle knob is:

-forward
-freeze
-time stretch
-reverse

all at once. everything between FWD and FREEZE is forward playback but it gets slower and slower and slower as you turn it to freeze (without changing the pitch, by the way), and then from FREEZE to REV is the same idea but backwards.

I'm sort of itching to get back on this (massive) project. I familiarized myself a little with the hardware with the anti-nautilus, and maybe now it's time to break out the big guns again.

I'm getting this dev board made:

And as soon as I figure out how to get parallel ram to work, I'll have one made with that as well.
