second this, never been a fan of thin-line anything, but I've always loved Jags so I'm torn. I think a test run is indeed in order.

what i'd like is the Charvel with the wide-rangey PUs from the Schecter...i like the 50s surf-racer aesthetic of the Charvel a lot, and i'm a whore for big MOTS pickguards, but lipsticks are low on my favorite lead PUs list.

fixed yer post.
the black-on-black is a cool look for a Jag, but yeah, I'm not digging the F-hole - I don't like 'em on Thinline Teles either.

Dudes.

That's Cooler.

And That's even fuckin cooler.
I know. Cause I'm on cool patrol.
no way, homie.
offset + lipsticks + trem + shark fin vs. non-offset + 'buckers + no trem + blocks. no contest, Surfcaster wins. the Schecter gets bonus points for almost looking like something Lemmy would play, though

I'm wondering how much I could get for the neck, because I think what I would do is slap the neck from my HH Special on it, and sell the HH body, the neck from this, and my new Squire Tele to help fund it all.
And, yes, Aen, we know you like Schecter and are getting two. Are you buzz marketing for them now? Is that part of your "deal"? :P

you know, i think this would make more sense if it was a mostly-hollow guitar with a solid top like a Gretsch Duo Jet rather than an f-hole guitar.

If Schecter is counting on me to sell guitars, they are barking up the wrong tree.
But anyway, i happen to find that Ric-o-caster (Strattenbacker?) shape to be really nice. So much nicer than a strat or a rick. Hope it sounds and plays as well as it looks.

I love the sound of neck pick-ups. That rhythm clip was nice.
