A couple different builders I could easily make a one builder board off of.
Aguilar - Their pedals are smartly built and very usable, with a lot of clever additions to regular effects. Plus, you can fit all of them on a PT-Mini, so it's all good.
Pro Tone - i really REALLY like the Nectar Chorus that just came out and have always liked a lot of Dennis' stuff. Now that he offers them in smaller boxes, it makes it much easier to toss them on a board.

I'm getting on the EQD bus, as about 75% of my board is already EQD
Still want to add a few more things like an xerograph deluxe, but my board is most likely staying pretty close to this:

All jokes aside, EHX wouldn't bee too bad of a choice if you could select from all points of their history.
I'd load a Pedaltrain Grande up with Ram's Heads and Triangles then flip that shit for profits.
Malekko would be another strong contender, probably 3rd for me, right after EQD and the good Dr.

I use a synth nowadays.
& yeah, quality may not be the best, but I think the still offer a lot.
