And so... everything has come full circle.
The lesson, then?
Don't write shitty music.

This seems entirely possible.

I HATE IT when a band writes ONE line and sings it over and over and over.
FUCK
I actually LOVE this. I really love when groups are self referential with this. Write one song that repeats a line, and on later songs use that same line. Love.
I fucking hate when people play music that sounds like every other band in their genre (see: every small metal band I've ever seen), and they act like they're the best, most original band ever.

I actually loved that Yuck record. The lack of passion doesn't bother me, especially for that song. Although it does feel forced in some instances most definitely, I do tend to overlook it. So yeah, far from an unbiased.
Honestly, I should be a ghost writer for hip hop. I'm great at word play.

So much mad itt
they must work pretty hard at looking so dull... I notice myself bouncing around even when I'm playing alone. I just can't fathom not going apeshit whilst playing live with a full band.

I love it too. I think the not caring image is because they're hipster as fuck. I mean, look at the bassist. She makes me angry just by being there.
Awesome album, though.

Right? Even recording noise, I'm the same way. I end up grooving and wildly flailing, even playing with pedal knobs to no beat. We ended up mounting the pedals to an old guitar body with velcro, so we could move and jam to nonsense.

I'm genuinely considering becoming a rapper. I just need to work on flow. Practice.

I really enjoyed the record as well when I first got it, but after seeing the bassist and lead guitarist live... eh it ruins the exciting songs for me. I was expecting more excitement from a band with such lively recordings.
I don't know, maybe it was all the tremolo'd fuzz tones... I thought he'd be a fun guy.

Me too, actually. But I want to freestyle nonsense lyrics. I can never manage to tack the words together, though.

I'll just pretend the drummer plays every instrument. He seems like a solid guy.

Haha, I remember when looking at the album sleeve I'd hope that was the dude singing as unlikely as it was.
