I really want to give the RRR some love sooner or later.

i use my amp's reverb, but if i ever end up going with an ac30 instead of a super reverb, i'd go with the van amps sole mate

No love for the AC30's reverb?

The new handwireds don't have it, sucks but I still love mine to pieces.

WHAAAAAT?! Lame. I dig my AC30C2's reverb. (Granted it is not a handwired, of course.)

In my experience with ambiance creating devices for simplicity the best I've used has been the ghost echo.

If you want lots of different phenomenal sounding reverbs then I'd suggest the rrr.

If you want a swiss army knife of ambience that sounds killer on the cheaps get the muza fd900.

In the future i might try to get one of these so I can kick it every now and then for some noisy fun:

Unless I'm mistaken Earthquaker Devices stopped making these somewhere around the 50 mark. Not really sure though. So I don't think there are any "new" one popping up anywhere.

I'd been using the Holy Grail for a good 3-4 years now, then recently got a Line 6 Verbzilla, then WeHuntKings Hall of Fame. I'm digging the Hall of Fame the best. I've got a BYOC Reverb en route, I'll post back when I get that built. Sounds super lush from the demos I've heard. I'll probably run both the BYOC and Hall of Fame just for lulz

I've cycled through a few reverb boxes over the last year. A longtime Holy Grail user, I decided to switch things up a bit and bought a Spring Chicken. It left much to be desired, so I replaced it with a Dr. Scientist Radical Red Reverberator. The RRR was an incredible unit, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for either. I've currently settled on a Boss RV-3, which is kind of ironic because I had one ages ago and ended up replacing it with the aforementioned Holy Grail! Funny how these things work out, eh?
