Does anybody have any opinion about it?
I've got two other toneprint pedals and think they're a good bang for the buck.
I fucking love mine. You can't do the faux tape warp thing on the analog modes when you fiddle with the delay time, but you can get a lot of great sounds out of it. And you can set it to where the delays keep going even after you switch the pedal off...Makes for some interesting textures when the feedback knob is dimed. The repeats end, but there's this whirring drone underneath your playing.
I haven't used the toneprint function yet, but that's cool too. There's an echoplex mode on the tc electronics website that I have been meaning to download.

Good to know. I think you'll like messing around with the toneprints. They're pretty fun.
I kinda feel the same way about the Vortex flanger as you do about the Flashback. (I haven't been able to get steel drum sounds out of it so far.) Not totally awesome, yet still pretty awesome. Doesn't quite do everything that you want it to, but does a whole lot of great sounding things. I prefer analog delay, but maybe I'll pick up a Flashback to play around with. Sounds like it'd be fun.
