I've been obsessed with phaser since first hearing Blue Tile Fever by Fu Manchu so many years ago. And yet, I've never owned one outside of my M9. Unless the flanger hoax sorta counts, I guess.

One time, my band recorded with this zonked out hippie dude, and he had this fucking mint early Small Stone just lying around, so every guitar track basically had just a little bit of phaser. I think I have that cassette somewhere around here...maybe it's in my car? Regardless, phaser->Russian BMP on a cover of "I Got Erection" just had this weird swirl to it without being obnoxious.

I love me some phaser too. My Boss one was pretty solid. I had a Pigtronix EP-2, cool idea, if I played funk it would have been the shit. Now I have a Grand Orbiter on the way. I am anxious to see how it does on my bass. I am sure a Faye Sing is in my future. I am also interested in the Street Sweeper.
I had a Foxx Foot Phaser and sent it back because it was so junky. It was falling apart in the box.

Haha, yea, I should have taken pictures the last time I opened it. Quite a task it can be.

I've got a vintage Foxx Foot Phaser. (I almost totally forgot about it.) It is junky, but that's part of the appeal. Those are pretty distinctive sounding phasers. I've gotten some really awesome phase tones out of it. Not yer typical sounding phase stuff, but weird idiosyncratic shit. It's a good special fx/trick phaser.

I need to get me another phaser besides the infinitphase...it sounds amazing but it's huge+complicated+needs its own powersupply.

Gas'ing for a quasar deluxe...but really, I think Dr. Scientist just needs to release one.

Gawwd I forgot how much I want an Infinitphase, thanks bro.
