Me and the Magical Carrot learned Phantom of the Opera and got to jam it together one night like 20 times and that was some of the funnest shit ever I've ever done with a guitar player!!!

Love me some Maiden.
I don't listen to much metal at all anymore...but Maiden still gets listened to quite a bit along with Slayer's Reign In Blood and mid 80's Metallica (RTL & MOP).
I've been a Maiden fan since my youth in the 80's, but I've never really even acknowledged the Paul Di'Anno era. It's all about Bruce for me.

I picked up guitar because of Judas Priest. I switched to bass because of Iron Maiden.....and my sausage fingers....but let's not get in to that.....
Yeah. I've gone off on to some sort of weird ska/punk kick and listen to a lot of alt/indie stuff....my metal has been getting neglected of late. But I'll still put in some Maiden and jam out pretending I'm Steve Harris.

Bruce is ridiculously awesome. I even dig the D'ianno stuff better with Bruce, which may or may not be heresy, but who cares.

GHOST BUMP, MOTHERFUCKERS! I'm drunk after returning homem from Maiden with Alice Cooper opening. All I can say is Steve Harris is SOOOOO much better than Flea!
