I wish I still had that pile of cow skulls I could chrome dip them and then build them into that.
I wonder how much it would cost to have them electroplated in gold?
Probably considerably more than a can of Krylon gold.

Holy shit I wanna build one of these. I'm all about these kinda fuzzes lately since I've been playing a lot of bass but still mainly play guitar. That crossover usefulness.. So good for my lazy ass. I just put a fuzz in my pocket and I'm good to go.

This is "our" pedal I only plan on making these 10 the kind of which legends are made of so let's get stupid!
Any ideas?
Socketed Transistors?
GIANT knobs or lots of switches?
We could do it so each person decorates their own enclosure and mails it in (should fit in a 1590bb)
Names?
Mr T on top and the LEDs are the eyes?

Again this y'allz pedals so if you do any research and find info that you'd like to see on your's let us know someone else might want it too.
If someone wants to pick out transistors I'll order them ASAP cause the supply might change by spring (a certain mouser supplied Fairchild is about to be obsolete)

If you need a hand with any part of the build process I'm game :thumb:

What's the "ball park" price you think these "kits" may go for? I haven't really been building much lately, but I may be interested in trying this one out.

Why don't we have each builder pair up with someone who is not a builder (yet) and go from there?
If I only have to build two I can do this in January.
We can all share info so that we are all aware of potential OMG mods that are possible.
One of us may have parts for this project that were already purchased at a bulk discount.
Another may have an idea for a different layout and they can etch the pcb's.
It frees up each builder and future builder to work out a symbiotic relationship that wouldn't happen if one or two builders built 5-10 pedals.
If we do the above system I would STRONGLY recommend to my partner that we use this enclosure.

Sounds great! I am not a builder yet (and I do mean yet), so I will need a partner. Thanks Sonny for getting the ball rolling!

Whatever way this slices, I love that enclosure.

Further away from the holiday season actually works better for me, since we're getting dick for snow up here (and teaching is how I make my fun money).

This is my suggestion we make 3 lists of people
List #1. Builders
People that would want to build one for themselves and one for another (it would be up
to the individuals to work out a price between the two. Remember that time is money so be cool)
List #2. Beneficiaries
People that may or may not have experience with pedal fabrication but will be expected to compensate the person that builds their pedal.
Beneficiaries are encouraged to contribute to the discussion. How many switches? Should each pedal be named for a pro wrestler?
List #3. Han Solos
People that are going to build one but only for themselves.
Han Solos might be busy people, new builders or whatever. They want in on the fuzz creation station.

We add names to the list and after no one else comes forward after a particular time we pair off with people we have b/s/t'd with or share a similar sense of humour or shares the same twisted vision for this pedal.

Again this is just a suggestion...........(why does this feel like the sequel to the TB Mothman?)

I'm game for being a beneficiary. I'll gladly pay someone to build one for me, depending on how good it sounds, I may give them my Baby Thundaa as trade, if they so desire of course.
