alesis midiverb or a yamaha spx90, reverse and tones of options, i have a midiverb 4 and love it as my first verb, having soooo many choices helped me figure out what i really wanted in a verb without knowing anything about verb beforehand.

Wait, the nano version is discontinued? Since when?

No, this guy.....

i really like the look of those EHX pedals. does it get pretty deep sounding? i've been really into just huge dark delays lately.

The hall setting on the Grail can get deep and dark. It's good.

The spring gets a bit splashy and poopy on high (past 1 oclock) settings.

kbithecrowing wrote:TC Electronic can definitely do the dark ambient thing well. Hall/Cathedral/Dark Hall are all great for it.
But, it doesn't go 100% wet, so be warned.

Only other verb I've used was a Cathedral, and I liked the infinite, reverse, & full wet features, but I kept the TC over it.
Possibly due to simplicity, I'm not really sure.

You actually can do 100% wet if you change the mode switch on the inside.

And I'm selling mine. :p

Bronzeltron would be a good person to ask about this, too.

I agree 100% with all of this. The spring is much better subtle. The hall can do anything from subtle to "am I in a cave now?"
