Does that thing have an audio input, or something to where whatever I'm playing on my bass would effect the video? I've looked at that before, and it looks awesome, but I didn't know if its just a noisemaker or if I could have more control on the visual stuff. I also know it has a MIDI input, but I don't know if my Boomerang III could effect that. Regardless, I really want one but I don't have the skills to make one myself, nor the money to buy a built one.

yes, the way i interpreted it, is that it has a audio generator in it that makes its own tones, but in addition and separately, it also has an audio trigger in, so that whatever signal u run thru it, it effects the video. i'm more interested in the trigger in and the video modes, than the audio noisemaker in it. its a nice bonus feature tho.
the midi is for controlling some of knobs on the device itself.

yea they say its a really tough build on the website, w/ my shotty skillz, i would def be gettin a built one.

I have a buddy who HAD a nice soldering iron before one of his ferrets chewed up the power cord. Its Japanese too, so its been difficult trying to get a hold of the company from what I understand. Which sucks, because he was going to build me some wicked pedals. I figure I could get him to build it, or my dad if he actually had a soldering iron.

Knowing that, I'm much more interested in the audio trigger. I've been working on making a solo bass ambient/space/post-rock styled project. A noisemaker could be somewhat useful, but I figured that just one guy on stage staring at his effects wouldn't be that interesting. Setting up a projector or TV monitor to have video stuff synced to the music would be really cool, especially if it were obviously that I wasn't playing to the video but the video was playing to me. Very Pink Floyd, only more modern.

Just ordered a TAFM. I'm excited.
