Agreed, some slim pickings when you go looking for a superfuzz.

If you could add an octave down knob (that track well)...
And been able to use the octave up and down with or without fuzz with a blend, that would be super awesome!!!

But I guess that would be another pedal.

This is not possible, the octave up effect is generated by the fuzz, and the "octave
down" in the superfuzz is just very subtle subharmonics generated by the
Square wave clipping.

You should check out the Foxrox Octron, kind of a similar idea to what yer talking
about.

However, there should be a clean blend, its invaluable, even on guitar

I already have the Octron... but would like to have something better.
I know this is not possible with a SUPER FUZZ, that's whys I said:
"But I guess that would be another pedal."

I'm realy into the Octron type of pedal... wish some builder here improve that kind of effects.
There is not a lot of choice other than the Octron.

this
maybe if peeps want clean blends i can make them happen. it won't really be difficult at all, more of an aesthetic/personal choice. damn that sounds pretentious.
invaluable?! wowza

I only say clean blend because I'm afraid I might lose my lows when I stomp on it. How would the lows be on this thing anyways?

they're pretty damn low most of the time. some settings have some cool subharmonics, some cut the bass a bit. a little of this a little of that.
i'll put it on if peeps want - i just have to make sure it doesn't cut the overall volume very much, which is sometimes the case.

Just random knob thrown in there, looking all out of place or crowding shit up? Is that what you're talking, aesthetically??

Regardless, count me in, clean blend aside!

as for the aesthetic reason - yeah, the crowding of space. i have an idea of what i want this to look like and it's already got more than i originally thought! so adding more is adding more.

as for the personal reason - it's more so that i'll be putting the best friend out there relatively soon (which is specifically a clean blend circuit), as well as complicating/changing things up somewhat more than i'd like to do at the moment (obviously easier to build 20 of the same thing than 16 of one/4 of the other). that being said, i may change my mind about feeling that way when it comes time to actually do the building.
