Kilimanjaro must fear you.

Mountainking Electronics?

I've never heard of the Black Plague (pedalwise), but if you can turn every powerchord into an extinction event, you know you're on the right track.

Fawk that i'm goin fur everist!!!!!

I've wanted a megalith for a long long time, but i've got the heavy fuzz tones well covered. I really wanted some gnarly distortion and fuzz on the verge of distortion.

The black plague is a cmatmods lm308n based rat clone with a 3 way toggle switch and true bypass. It's gnar in a box, and the super collider is a fuzz thats almost a distortion with gobs of low tones and depth so with my pedals combined i am Captain Planet-Destroyer!

Now i just need to decide on a reverb/delay pedal...... el cap? reel echo? E.T. space? m5? it needs to have haunting ambience as if the guitar is being played in a cavern during a black mass........ and fit on a pedaltrain mini with 3 other pedals and a power supply :)

Ghost Disaster = the great haunt

Though I love my El Cap, I still want a Ghost Disaster for this very reason.

I agree the ghost disaster is extremely haunting, but i tried it with the 8 string with nominal results last night. It works fantastic with my 6 strings, i even left a flattering hype review on it in the EQD subforum a few months ago i like it so much. The 8 string i've noticed is a completely different beast with pedals, it needs something that works for bass and guitar well. My supercollider sounds meh with my 6 strings but is BEAST with my 8 string, and the pharaoh is the opposite. That's why im designing a second board for the 8 string.

The el cap has the clarity in looking for, built in reverb, and an eq section that will help me dial it in to the 8 string. I was looking also at the Dano Reel Echo (too big, cheap switches, and no reverb, but the tone was pretty cool) the skreddy echo (warble functions cool, but no eq or reverb) and the boss re-20 (seems more like a reverb than a delay, and well.... it's a boss and its HUGE). So it seems the strymon is my best bet.... and the most expensive....

I'll admit, I completely forgot about the spring reverb in the El Cap.
I've been using a Ghost Echo so I never thought about, I suppose.

But, I will whole heartedly support the El Cap. It is, by far, my favorite delay yet.

Your probably alot better off with the ghost echo, alot better controls than the single knob on the El Cap. Plus the tone is wicked!

Thanks my friend, it's not helping my gas though.....

My fav delay is still the dispatch master, for 4 knobs SOOOOOOO many tones can be had, my solo's have never sounded better, spacier maybe, but the DM tone was exactly what i was looking for.

Supercollider definitely shines on bass/downtuned guitar, that's for sure.

Also, I wasn't expecting your guitar to be so sexy. I kind of had more of a schecter-y Ibanez-y thing in my head.

Yes yes it does....

Thank you sir! I never liked schecters and the ibanez is overpriced.... the agile is def in a class of its own.

You asked for it so here it is..... all 44 minutes and 44 seconds of the second track to be released by a side project i'm involved in called Sheol.... It's me on the 8 string guitar and effects pedals and my band mate on percussion and analog synth w/ delay.... yes it is long... it's meant to be played in the background..... of your nightmares.....

Holy holy. That is wonderful. I have to have one of these now.

Also, I really love your style in general. I wish there was more of this in my neck of the woods.
