On top of all the other people already mentioned, Mike Bloomfield. I know you guys probably hate white man blues, but his phrasing and touch is insane. The dudes taint is just insane.

That ending solo thing Meyer has in "So Did We" is nuts though. He's also the guitarist in Red Sparowes isn't he?

I forgot to mention those guys...Aaron Turner is not only a favorite guitarist of mine, he's just an inspiration in general. The man has been making music and doing business in one way or another since he was 17. He started the mail-order hardcore punk thing and made Hydra Head pretty soon after. AND he's a ballin' graphic designer.

Also, props to him for taking a tele and playing heavy heavy stuff with it. I know that's not original, but he wrangles some pretty gnarly tones outta that thing.
