Instead of starting another flanger thread, I thought I'd just ask here.
Does anyone know of any good flangers with stereo INputs? I'm running a stereo rig. I have an EHX PolyChorus, which is the perfect subtle liquidy flange sound I like, but to keep it in stereo, it needs to be at the beginning of my chain (before the dirt), and I'd rather it be near the end. I've only found the TC Vortex, and from the demos I've heard it sounds nothing like the PolyChorus (but maybe it can). Help?

That's sort of what this thread is here for, talking about flangers.
The TC Electronic Vortex is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of any just now. I don't know if it's a good pedal because I don't have any firsthand experience with it, but the clips I've heard sound pretty good. It seems that because of the TonePrint it would be a pretty flexible pedal. I think you'd probably be able to cop PolyChorus tones with it with a little tweaking. If you pick one of these up please post your impressions. I'm interested.
If you're looking for stereo flange not in pedal form, I know that many rackmount flangers have stereo inputs.

+1 I've got a cosmichorus on the way but I am still planning on snagging the vortex!

I can't really think of any other flangers w/ stereo inputs... other than getting a Line 6 M# or Eventide Modfactor. There's got to be more options than just that. Even the Strymon isn't stereo in, which if anyone would have a stereo in/out pedal I would think it would be them.

Yeah, I'm really drawing a blank on this flanger w/ stereo ins question. I thought maybe the new Moog Cluster Flux might have fit the bill. Nope. Mono input.
I'll keep looking.

I think tc electronics has cornered the market!!

Yeah, the Line 6, the Eventide and the TC. Not too many choices.

From what I hear, the Dr. Scientist Cosmichorus has some nice flanger sounds, but the version with stereo ins is still under development, so for that you'll have to wait..

Might be worth waiting for if it's not TOO far off. I've heard nothing but good things about the current version.

just remindin y'all that im the king of flange.
personal favorite cheap flange is the Rocktron Hypnotic Flange, and i;d love to know if there are any mods to make the "hypnotic" section more prominent. which would literally make it the best flange you could buy. and of course modded DOD flanges
but for now, the moogerfooger choralflange is #1 for me.

How the fuck have I not posted in a flanger thread yet? What is this world coming to? Gearmond, no offense dude, but it's a little presumptuous of you to assume the mantle of king of flange

I keed, I keed. I say this as someone who gigged last year with 4 different flangers on his board (yes, it's a sickness). I've culled it down to 3 now though.
My current stable is this:
Flanger Hoax for through-zero fucking awesomeness
EHX Stereo Electric Mistress, either for filter matrix frozen shit, or for ball-bearing noises
DOD FX72 for "normal" flange tones
As for the topic going on about stereo ins, yeah you're pretty much limited to the ones stated, as well as the TC Nova Modulator.

I really liked the hoax my only concern was the volume drop it had when I used my favorite settings.
