Does it save all the settings, i.e. taper type/span for each channel, when you unplug the Expressionator?
What happens when you set the 'low' value for the taper higher than the 'high' value? Would the pedal crap out or would that reverse the taper? If it does reverse the taper, then you could conceivably do away with the reverse taper type because you'd be able to set that up through the first. Which would free up a LED spot for a different weird setting. I think the very minor inconvenience of setting it to reverse would be worth the extra wacky taper type especially if it saves all your settings, but I'm biased towards the wacky.
Speaking of a potential extra wacky taper type; random mode. Similar to squarewave but you'd get 77%, 23%, 44%, 66%, 33%, 90%, whatever. Unexpected fun.
If you're up for it, another demo with the focus on buzzsaw and squarewave would be great and more of both pedals being controlled at the same time, preferably with different taper types. Your demo didn't really touch on that much, as you had a fair amount of ground to cover, but again, I like wacky.

Saves - yep. it remember taper set, span set when you unplug and bring it back up.
Low Too Low For High - that reverses it.
Getting Rid Of Reverso - i think they're pretty married to the first three tapers the way they are. there's a big focus on keeping it intuitive, so having to do a trick to get it to go reverse is kinda counter productive. right now, it's cool that it's so quick to setup if you want to put one on a reverse and one on a normal setting. i know they tried about 5 different ideas for the last two that either went too fast or just didn't work right before they decided on the Saw and Square waves.
Moar Demo - yahp. i'll try to throw something together. i want to do something that's a little more musical too. i was trying to just explain the feature set in the last one mostly.

Maybe I have too many thoughts ...

Can you store a (different) taper span for each taper type on a channel? So linear up, set it to 20%-80%, linear down, 100%-40%, linear up 3 40%-60%. That way you could save your favourite setting for each taper type and cycle through them more quickly.

I think it's a simple enough trick for anybody freaky enough to want an Expressionator and from the video it doesn't take long to set the taper. That said, keeping it simple and intuitive isn't a bad thing. Perhaps it's something they can offer up as an option when ordering?
Pay an extra $10-15 and get wacky setting instead of reverse taper or ...

The third taper is basically for shitty or non-expression pedals right? So if you have say a Moog EP-2, you wouldn't have a need for the 3rd taper setting, because it would function like the first one. Meaning you could also swap out the 3rd setting for the wacky one. As long as you put up a list of 'proper' expression pedals that have a good sweep that wouldn't require taper #3. That way you can keep El Reverso (or offer 2 more wacky settings) if you have the fancy pants expression pedal. No idea how easy it would be to change that up, just a different line of code in the chip? I wouldn't care about the \ symbol being next to it, but that might just be me.
I really hope Jean doesn't blacklist me for all this.

good questions dude.
you can save different tapers/spans per channel.
If you really wanted, we could probably make you a special version with the different tapers... we tried random and it was kinda lame (imo). it's not truly random though. You just pick random numbers between 0-1024 then put them in order and that's spread out between toe and heel. So like 0,344,800,392,1011,14,666, etc. the more numbers, the faster it jumps around - so it would be random, but the same random up and down everytime. And that's kind of what I thought was lame about it. and it didn't sound that cool with certain effects (probably a harmony/whammy pedal it would be nice).
we could also make square 0-50% 32x (or whatever) between toe and heel. I think behndy got you covered on most everything else.

Figured there was a chance random would be a predetermined random, which does make it lamer as far as random goes. But you could use it as a way to cycle through preferred settings, especially if you're offering up user defined settings on it so you can match it to specific pedals. Any taper types that you tried but weren't worth while?
Could you make squarewave be percentage adjustable through the taper span rather it setting the number of times it switches between toe/heel?
Will definitely take you up on that offer. Hopefully the expression controlled pedals I have on order will be here by then so I can pick something that works well with those in mind.

hey haki - we are adding some protection circuitry to the "IN" jack and getting boxes ready for a batch to cover the waitlist. That's about it for now.

A question for all y'all: has anyone had any experiences with the Expressionator and Behringer & Copilot fx? I wanna make sure Expressionator will work with a Bass Synth & a Planetoid before I take the plunge.

I plugged a Behringer US600 into my Expressionator and it worked just fine. Email Mission - they should be able to tell you.

only Behringer pedal i've had is the cheapo synthy thing? i think i uses it with my Expressionator. not totally sure though.
BUT. every pedal that i've had that took a standard TRS cable for it's expression in worked fine with my Expressionator. so.... should be fine?
