Do you have it on true-bypass or buffered mode? If it's on buffered mode, I guess a buffer would solve your problem.

Huh... I have it on... whatever it came out of the box with. Do I need to open it up to check the mode? I'm guessing probably...

Now, for a buffer, I do have a Boss tuner, but I usually keep it at the beginning of my chain (for no good reason, really - that's just how I've always done it). Would it be enough for me to just shift it to the end of my chain, or do I need an "always on" buffer pedal. If so, do people have opinions on who makes a good buffer pedal / pedal buffer?

Does it have trails when you switch it off? If so, it's on buffered mode.
I don't have a flash back but this is how the Hall of Fame works so I'm assuming it's the same.

Wouldn't hurt to try the tuner at the end either way :idk:

Ah, right. Duh. I'm new to the whole dedicated delay thing... no, it cuts off sharply, so it's not in buffered mode. But as I mentioned, it only cuts the buzz when it's activated, so maybe if it's in true bypass mode there's a buffer going when it's engaged.

Good point on the tuner - I will try it just as an experiment. Also, I just found a decent talkbass thread on this very subject which has a list of suggestions and links: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f36/best- ... er-767505/
