Yeah, I think it's my favourite chorus for bass. It brightens the sound a bit, which you might not want, but it's so nice, slow settings especially sound really good.

Do you also own a Sea Machine?

Yeah, I've had it for maybe 2 weeks now? Still figuring out sounds/my favourite things, so I still spend loads of time tweaking it.

Try this setting with some OD before it and big sustained notes:

Rate: min
Shape: a hair before noon
Dimension: 2-3 o'clock
Intensity: 11-12 o'clock
Animation: 12 - 1 o'clock
Depth: 2-3 o'clock

That's a really nice setting :thumb:

Rate: 12ish
Shape: max
Dimension: min
Intensity: a touch over 3
Animation: max
Depth: max

It's a really intense but in tune vibrato, the rate and intensity tune it a bit, and it seems to jump to different intervals depending on what note you play as well. Great fun.

Picked up a Sea Machine a few weeks ago and, YES, it works great on bass. Slow setting suggestion taken and utilized.
I'm really just beginning to scratch the surface with this pedal but already I dialed in a sound I'm pretty happy with.

Waiting on a Monarch to show up to partner with this guy.

Incidentally, using a Fender Music Master bass outfitted with a Precision pick-up.
The Sea Machine definitely puts the creep on.

So can the Sea Machine get a cool tremolo sound?

It can do some "pulsey" kind of things, but nothing that I would call a tremolo type sound.

Just scored a Sea Machine myself.......and it is CRAZY good on bass! By far the best chorus I've used (and that's a long list of disappointments I might add, even some very well loved high-end types). It's the only chorus I've used with bass that doesn't clip out on my low B string work and that I can run at really wet settings without the sound getting lost or buried. So quiet too.

You really can't beat EQD for anything....dirt, delay, modulation. Such incredible pedals.

just Got one of these sweet pedals earlier this week and am loving it. All types of chorus sounds are possible with careful tweaking. Does take patience though, but i like that it works well with overdrive which my maxon cs550 does not.

Yeah, how well it works with dirt, even massive fuzz, is one of the best things about the pedal. It definitely takes time to find settings in it, but it's worth it because I'm still finding new sounds after owning one for months!

Just got my Sea Machine the other, so far I'm absolutely loving it. I have some settings jotted down in a scout book that I'll have to share when I have it handy, I really liked the ones posted in here.
