Fact: unless women tape down their tits, they are going to bounce a bit.

I don't care if you find them attractive, I am just tired of hearing about boobs in relation to this band. Talk about their music. Take them seriously as musicians, not just as sexy women on your computer screen.

I do but have you seen that video? I understand boobs bounce but that video was a advertisement for their tits so its hard to take them seriously.
Like I said I do dig the music I can just do without the selling me on sex shit.

The whole premise of this thread is incorrect. Why should there be one band a whole board should like?

There are bands so good you don’t notice their looks, and bands so smoking hot you watch them in spite of their music.
This is neither.
Just another “processed cheese” group.

I sure the band doesn't feel that way about themselves

I am always willing to disregard looks and judge them as musicians, as long as the band discards looks and presents themselves only as musicians. This band has failed to do so, and so will I. It seems that a lot of female bands want it both ways. They want to use their looks to get additional press, and then whine about it when people focus on their looks. One way or the other, ladies.

EDIT:: I just want to clarify that I don't think this phenomenon is unique to women. Male bands that use some other gimmick to get famous, get similarly upset when people then focus on the gimmick instead of their music. Like costumes, or weird instrument lineups, or releasing a cover as your breakthrough single. When you use something other than your music to get a break, the focus will never be on your music. Deal with it, or don't use a gimmick as your break.

I haven't really noticed them using their looks for press. :idk: When I saw them live there was no 'show' or slutty outfits, it was very clear they're a serious band who make cool music. Maybe there is some marketing of them that focuses on their looks, but I haven't seen it.

To me, that video looked like an ad campaign for a clothing line...

Yeah but all music videos nowadays look like commercials for a clothing line. ;)

I haven't actually watched their music videos, the first time I saw them was on Jools Holland, then I saw them live and bought the album. Having a lame video doesn't really matter though right? 99.9% of music videos are balls anyway. Unless it actually IS an ad campaign for a clothing line, it does not bother me that a band I like makes stupid music videos.

I like lots of other female musicians, in a way that has nothing to do with their gender. Listing a bunch of completely unrelated female bands in this thread just because it's about a band with women in it just reinforces the idea that they should be thought of as a girl band rather than just as a band. :idk:

First I saw the White Ric, then everyone was like jiggly b00bs so I watched the video three more times, and was able to finally take my eyes off the Ric and I saw b00bs.

Meh. If I wanted boobs, there are plenty of better places on the internet or real life to get them. I'd rather have quality music :idk:

if you don't think the sexiness of this band is intentional then you are kidding your self. it's boner music, it's chill and sexy people are playing, sexy people will listen to it and have sex. when ever i think about music i first think "is this for me?" this isn't for me.
