Or a Klon.

Or 1/64 of a Dumble!

or 95% of a schumann pll

PLL's are really over a G now? Last price I saw was like half that.

I guess unobtanium has seriously settled in... but wasn't there something a little while ago about John getting his act together and making new ones?

You have to buy a new one. That's how MBAs think.
Fuck that shit, I'll be in the corner playing my 1967 Vox Tone Bender that doesn't need an upgrade every 6 months.

Fuck that shit, no one man can possibly deserve a '67 tonebender unless he is/kills the original wielder.

Like the wands in Harry Potter.

Mostly because the last time I really paid attention to a PLL was when he was still making them.
:thumb: :thumb:

They're definitely interesting, but I couldn't justify one when it was $500.

just footswitches for ipad, iphone and ipod:
http://www.harmonycentral.com/blogs/New ... ipod-touch
but still one hundred dollars...
i'm also not really curious how my guitar will sound through my ipad.
i think the main issue i have with the digital stuff is, that they always emulate. with this approach you can only loose... why are there no things that really use the digital nature with progression?

edit: I'm too dumb to know that a grand is 1000 and not 100. Meant here clearly 100$.

I still can't follow the train of thought that this technology is dumb, because I have to spend $800+ to use it. I wouldn't buy a midi/usb keyboard without already having a computer w/ software, or rack gear. That's putting the carriage before the horse.

I do agree that this wouldn't be for everyone. All you doctors and lawyers can run far far away from this. :p
I, on the other hand, am not afraid of the digitals. Half of my, and my wife's board, is made up of digital effects, and I get nothing but OMG TOAN JIZZZZZ from everybody that hears what comes out of the speakers. Emulation is getting better and better, and those little nuances you here while you are rockin out in your bedroom become a lot harder to discern when you are playing live... with a band........ especially if the sound guy barely knows what he is doing.

I will now get down from my computer generated high horse, and go get another cup of coffee. ;)

Agree: No issue with Digital, run A Multi Effect unit at the end of my chain cleans up noise, gives me more control, means I don't need to have a pedal tuner or volume pedal.

Also think this equipment only makes sense if you already own an I-pad/POD, which according to Apple is everyone in the universe, but is probably actually a small percentage of the population.

I've read that they are prone to freeze and lock ups. Imagine mid gig you cutting out and having to tell everyone, sorry I'm waiting on the rainbow wheel.

I was only referencing the comment about it being 1G, and how others were talking about high prices, when the product you listed is actually $99. That's all.

Now that would be hilarious. Trent Reznor on stage in front of thousands for NIN's last tour..... "erm" :wha?: :erm:
