Alright guys, what did you have in mind for it to be like, Guillaume is asking me. Help me out, I was thinking Lo Fi delay of some form.

Depends of the price and function (it should be a strange delay)... but yes!

-Self-oscillation foot switch
-Tone knob for the repeats
-FX loop
-lfo
-bit crushing function in the repeats
-Old tape mode (like very old and all comfused)
-Random noise delay
-Repets that go slower or faster (or both at the same time).

lo-fi for sure. :thumb:

I'd like this in a delay:

-Tap tempo
-LFO with waveform select (sine, square, and random) for modulation
-Time quality switch (basically pushes the BBD's to far to create a 'lofi' sound (similar to messing with your trim pots to get the "bitcrushed" sounds))
-Pre/post 3 band EQ
-Diffusion mode. :erm:

Just some ideas.

And that fuzz looks awesome. I'm really curious about the details.

Beyond that, I'd love to have a simple delay with tap tempo (a must) and beat subdivisions (quarter note triplets if possible; fuck that dotted eighth note shit).

If my Barbershop OD is any indication, this fuzz will be amazing. I just hope it's not another Fuzz Face clone.

Talk about living up to expectations.

The Unpleasant Surprise is a strange beast, hard to control and even harder to explain. Think of it as losing all dynamics, there's either a wall of sound coming at your ears or nothing at all, no in between. I'm getting some samples together to give a little taste of it's fury. The switches are loosely labelled G(ain), C(omp) and T(one). Onset is a gate threshold and gain all wrapped into one, particularly useful when the US is preceded by dirt pedals. Design ain't final yet, might be some slight changes. It sounds great with bass too, if you're into nasty bass lines.

There are a lot of great delays out there. It's one of the main reasons I don't feel the need to make one. Unless of course I can find something that makes it stand out, I mean really stand out. Something that allows the player to go places he'd never thought possible.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, keep 'em coming...

Guillaume
I love fuzz, and I like this place.

Cheers Guillaume--

Welcome to ilovefuzz! Lovin' my Four Eyes and Randy's. Very interested in what you're doing--love that you're taking time to come up with truly inspired and inspiring effects, and I for one will happily wait for what you come up with next, delay or not. But a delay that allows me to go places I've never thought possible--that would truly, truly be worth waiting for. Sorry--did I repeat myself there?

Sounds like a gated/ripping fuzz! My cup o' joe.

What's the price point going to be? At or around...

Bassboar wrote:Now who would like to see Guillaume crank out a delay?

I love the EQ of the 4Eyes so much... I would say a Para EQ (a la Fairfield Circuitry) with some filter, etc... would be nice too.
To go from trebely AM radio sound to scary sub bass sound... and some others function.

But for now what interest me the most is to get Randy's Revenge as soon as it will be back.
