Give it a go, boys. Some ILFer is bound to prevail!
i've been subscribing to this since it has been started and i remember the ONE TIME WHEN A NON-AMERICAN MUSICIAN WON...YAY

I know what you mean

. But it makes sense. The ratio of americans entering into the contests vs the rest of us is why more americans win.

it sure makes sense, but that doesn't mean i can't bitch about it, right?
and when you see Superdelay as it disappears in someone other's hands for the second time FOR FREE you start to wonder if you really NEED both of your kidneys...

LoFi info and 919 Update from Josh via HCFX:
"This was a pretty fun project, as mentioned i'm overclocking the hell out of a poor BBD to get the "LoFi" sound, but also re-voiced the way it regenerates making it more "pillowy" and re adjusted the filter curve allowing the wash like background you hear, it'll go on "forever" and with low note strumming at times sounds like a male choir. That's where i think this pedal shines, it is a texture machine! There are a lot of "sweet spots" i found with this guy, and I really love the interaction it has with the instrument itself. Sonically there isn't much (if any) overlap between this and a "regular" E616, and the only real similarities are they are both analog delays...how they sound, react and regenerate are completely different.
I guess since i'm talking about Malekko i should mention the (most current) hold up on the E919 is due to the chief engineer on the projects father had a stroke several months ago...and ultimately passed. It's been a severely rough time in Johns life, his fathers decline was rather drawn out, I haven't bothered him about something as trivial as a delay pedal. Months have passed without communication, but last week he called me to get the ball rolling again, we both feel as though this project will be wrapped up fairly soon. No one wants that pedal out more than i do, we've sunk a ton of money and energy into it's creation, but it'll be ready when it's ready."

Even more tempted to pick up the lofi after reading that description, and also saddened by the bad news about that dude's father

Anyone who ripped on malekko for delaying the 919 should feel like a douuuuccchhe right now.
Really want to try the lofi, I miss the lofi from the dl4/m9.

Got it today. My initial impressions are its a lot like the sunny day delay tone wise in the non extreme settings, and weird and ring modish tone in the background in extreme settings (this really does sound cool). FYI there's just a tiny bit of background noise that changes pitch when you change the time knob setting that's similar to adjusting the tuning knob on a ring knob.
