Looks like the honeymoon came to an end buddy! But it was the same with the Photron for me… Its so awesome and fat and cool but 90% of the knob settings don’t make a sense or oscillate that hard to make your ears bleed…

Well,
the Beast is a big bad boy which I still really like.
But my new Deliverance has all the gain I really need (maybe boosted a bit sometimes).
So keeping the Beast is just overkill.
But same goes for the Rockbox Boiling Point.

...and I still dig an keep my Tromboner. :yay:
Just a couple of years more and some more famous guitarist using the PTD stuff and I'll get a new car out of it, ha, ha.

I probably should have waiting a few more months before selling my Supercollider.

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.

This HAS happened before, very recently as a matter of fact. My guess is he thought he could revamp but just couldn't.

It's a modded NYC muff. Mids knob is obvious, Depth knob is like a high-pass filter, from what I understand.

Was my go-to fuzz for quite a while.

Too bad, the hard competition and the low profits seem to be really tough on the small business.

I wish I had chance to play the Beast and the Supercollider. :idk: I've not been much of a Muff fan, but I've been looking pretty keen on some doomy/crunchy offshoots for the last half year or so...

Pssssh. Mids knob?

Mids toggle switch is where its at.

It is a modded NYC muff, and I believe there is/was a schematic up on Free Stomp Boxes. I sent Fuzzrocious Ryan a link to it when EA discontinued it the first time, to see if he could clone it.

Of course, I ended up with the Gray Stache, which can get 90% of the same sounds and is way more versatile.
