I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest something nobody has mentioned - the fuzz side of a Fulltone Ultimate Octave... can get a pretty gnarly Queens tone out of it, which isn't surprising since Josh Homme uses on I think

The two I was going to mention!

Also, I didn't like the Musket on bass. TOO midsy/compressed

I'm bringing this back from the dead
eyeing that megalith clone in the bst
but now after reading this not sure
I have a custom RAT and Supercollider, as well as other fuzzes,
but it sounds so tempting rather than stacking to get that sound
FTWinyourfaceFUCKALL
RAT + SUPERCOLLIDER + other FUZZZ or MEGALITH + SUPERCOLLIDER?
so many tastynasty fuzzes out there

somehow the musket never bonded with me
I wanted to love it based on TORCHE
but nope
love my supercollider for those sounds
think I need a megalith to kick out some others
and a bee baa
all the FUZZZ

Earthbound audio supercollider! Mids knob and gets the doom on. Both the 71 and standard work for doom, depending on your preferences. I like the 71 for guitar use, but i don't get soooooo super doomy, but it works for my taste of that genre.

Meathead clone was the doomiest I could find, but I have to use an EQ to make it usable (midrangey) at any volume levels on any amp.

Saw a couple LSTR mentions and I totally agree. As a matter of fact mine's currently for sale in the classifieds too (for a good deal I might add).

The scoop knob really does help cut some mud and push it forward in the mix. I loved it, but am more into GE fuzzes these days, and it got kicked off my board by my Analog Man high gain white dot NKT275 Sun Face. That's kinda like getting kicked off the mat by Bruce Lee, more an honor than a badge of shame.

Let me put it this way, I loved my LSTR enough to let go of my original V7C Green Russian Muff that I had since it came out because the LSTR could cop 99% of the V7C tones, and a shit load more the original couldn't.

I'd add the Earthbound Centurion to the list too. Inherently mid-rangey fuzz with relatively subtle low end harmonics that really girth it up without the mud. Not as saturated sounding as a Supercollider, and the dirt has a bit of a growly overdrive character that I love the shit out of.

yeah I had one of the first ones and he even modded it for me
but rough financial times a while back forced me to sell it
a dude in witch ripper has it now
might get another if produces them again
also in the market for his bee baa incarnation, the pale mare
that thing looks fucking gnarly
the gate toggle has me like

Coast sonic has some centurions. I think he might have some direct too. He's had them back for a few months now, I think.

I have an older yellow one, it's a cool doomy fuzz face IMO. Supercollider is a doomy muff. Both quite heavy but they have a different character.

You could try running your fuzz into the RAT for a more midrangey character.

yeah they didn't stack too well from what I remember
got pretty synthy in a weird way, which was cool for weird stuff
just need to get back in there and test shit out again
think I'm gonna pull the trigger on that megalith clone
