Oh, and the upright stuff, it's welcome, too. No point discriminating here ;)

 :p

Yayyyyyyy!!!

Also, there's the UK bass "supergroup" Freebass. I haven't listened to their stuff yet, so I can't be sure how the tunes are, but still - 2 - 3 basses.

hmmm, Freebass sounds like something possibly in vein of the Bass Invaders. Don't know if it's good or bad  :p but it definitely is in the category.

jrmy wrote:Oh, and on the self-promoting tip: Crotchthrottle is almost all bass. The "guitar" parts are actually piccolo bass. It's only me playing the stuff, but there are definitely more than 2 bass tracks per song!

JRMZ, Piccolo Bass sure counts as bass, as long it's not guitar that isn't a piccolo bass. You ought to know. Liked Your band already, but now... we're brothers in arms on the same mission!

"Brilliant" 82 - 86
....formed by Youth (and Jimmy Cauty/KLF) when he left Killing Joke.
2 drummers, 2 bassist, keys, vox and sparse guitar, used for feedback mostly on the early stuff....which is some really good shite.
by the time they ended it was just a trio doing pale disco  .......
Youth went on the form Butterfly records and the Orb with alex paterson.....

sure, Om is and Sleep was awesome. Did I mention it in the very first post? Lost in editing, perhaps... :thumb:

The Brilliant is all new to me - thanks Elwood! I´ll have to check that for being connected to Killing Joke :thumb: :thumb:

oh that, right :) that's the list of the bands using multiple bass guitars in the band, or simply two basses, when tagging last fm. I should fix that too, so it would include bands with MORE than two bass players.

death from above 1979 and lightning bolt have only one bass. OM needs to be on the list.
