Couple that with the fact that everyone was lining up to suck John Mayer/Joe Bonamossa/Robben Ford's dick (or dicks) and I couldn't take it anymore. Fuck that place.

EDIT: I spent 5 minutes browsing this forum and knew I had to register. I genuinely laughed out loud on a regular basis while reading threads here and there's just a generally positive and friendly vibe.

WAIT WHO THE FUCK WAS FRIENDLY? I THOUGHT WE TALKED ABOUT THIS SHIT GUYS....

my first gear forum was TGP....my sig there originally stated that John Mayer sucked ass. Shortly there after i got a PM from a Mod telling me that a sig was not allowed there. TGP for the most part is full of humorless rich fucks. They do have a ton of good info over there and the emporium is always full of good shit. There are only a few good dudes over there.

What passes for a sense of humor (or a sense of grammar) over there truly astonishes me.

If it weren't for TGP, I wouldn't have learned about which cable is "best for TONE!" though. Gotta take the good with the bad.

what the fuck is a TGP

trustworthy giant penises? tumultuous gay prostitutes? triumphant gratuitous pornography?

'cause i am okay with all of that

just as long as it aint a bunch of people whining about there only being one kind of tone in the world

I only use jackplates made out of fossilized Therizinosaurus femurs, because how much more chewy the tone is.

I find that straplocks really smother all of the subtle harmonics in my tone, but it doesn't matter because I sit down the entire time I'm on stage anyway.

I find in those instances, the material of your shirt really can add or subtract a lot of the fragile upper harmonics in your tone.

its not blues unless you're a middle aged white guy with gear worth more than most people's homes playing licks you learned from Clapton's #1 fan; John Mayer.

Hey, it's crucial to have nothing but the finest uber-booteek gear that money can buy when trying to emulate music originally played by black bluesmen on cheap Harmony and Kay guitars through equally-cheap Silvertone and Supro amps.
