That's version 1 -- it's cool. The main difference I think is the footswitchable boost in v2.

$420, look like an MKI.

was yours really noisy?
mine seems to introduce a shitwad of buzz even when its not on and even more when its on
but it seems to go away as soon as i touch the footswitches or jacks
possibly ground issues?
Sounds like possibly the grounding to me. If that's not an issue...Does it happen at all gain levels? And is there any fluorescent lamps in where You play? They are known to cause trouble with old skool tube amp designs so turning lights off might help. If checking all that doesn't help, contact the Faustone for tips.
My amp IS a bit noisy, when I don't play, feedbacking like any blasting tube amp, only a bit more than others I've played. The fuzz has a little to do with it, it's the easily driven, thunderous amp itself, I think. Plus the hiss from the Klipp. Have You heard the old Black Sabbath live recordings?

Do You make Use of that monstrous treble boost? If yes, start by checking the shielding and grounding of the instrument, that helped my problems with the amp, though I had to lower the bass preamp treble boost, too.![]()
If there's any issues with the instrument grounding and shielding, You'll might have the cultist coming to Your door, asking to come for the worship the Snake God in the backyard hissing the trebly shazzy drone.
SHHHHHHHHZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAHSHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYSssHHZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZHHHHHHHHHHHH
Remember though that I don't have the actual Valve Clipper preamp pedal but rather the amp, and though they should be the same, there can be differences.
