I have a little custom Jerms Rangemaster diddly on its way. Selectable between Treble, Mid and Full range boost. Stoked.
Dammit, why didn't I think of that? Great idea. Pics when it arrives.

I have an ac30 and this thread is making me think I need a treble booster. I think I'm gonna try and build a rangmaster clone.

I like to boost the treble with my ParaEq but I'm not sure it's quite the same thing.

A good rangie into that amp will make it sing.
Here's a nice one for $99: http://stompboxes.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9495

I've been using my BYOC triboost in germanium treble boost mode to really push my Ampeg Jet with my guitar. Not sure if I'm into that sound for all my playing, but it is a neat sound, to be sure.

It's a bad name -- I always thought it was a kinda EQ so why not just turn up the treble, but it's not. It's a boost but it boosts more in the treble frequencies, and is good for shoving your amp into overdrive.

[list of people using treble boosters omitted]

There's all sorts of arguments about whether the John Mayall Beano album has a Rangemaster into Marshall on it or not. EC says he didn't use one, but it kinda sounds like it.

it doesn't really give you more treble, it boosts, but the boost has a peak in the top end.

It's boosts the treble more than it does mids or bass, so you push your amp into sweet overdriven leads while keeping the bass tight, ie, not getting flubby. That's my understanding, at least.

Resurecting this thread to ask if anybody has experience with Devi's Punch Love. I'm looking for something to take the place of my OD-pedal-which-shall-not-be-named. Something that will have a clear, trebly biting sound with a healthy bottom when I'm playing chords(mostly on top 3-4 strings). Something like a lot of the rhythm playing on Tyrannosaurus Hives by The Hives specifically A Little More For a Little You.

Like this:

Any other good boosters for under $100?
