I did want one and was saving up that way, but due to an itchy trigger finger ended up with a RE-20 AND a Morley Chrome Power Wah for slightly less $, so I'm quite happy. The one thing the El Cap has that I would like is the Lo-Fi warble. But I gotta say, I'm pretty content with the Space Echo pedal. Also got an AC hardwire DMM, so I'm feeling set delay wise.

My non-modified Empress cops all the tones I've ever gotten out of the El Cap, I'm not saying the Empress is for sure the superior pedal but The Cap doesnt make me want to make room for a new delay on my board.

Had one. Traded it away within a week.
The self-oscillation simulation sounded cheesy.

Though they do like kinda nice, I love my DMM, and my copicat does all the tape echo I need, being a reel ( ;) ) tape echo.

No El Cap GAS here, though I do think it sounds cool. My Fave delays are the DMM and Memory Boy

I don't.The Bucket Brigadier would do just as good :p or a Budget Brigadier.

I need a delay, really, I do, ever since I gave mine away to Secret Santa. And I hear all the time all this great applause for it... but then again... it doesn't have to be a tape delay, it just need to do nifty things. :idk: DrScience, Earthquaker, MEK, Malekko, Moody sounds, Empress... there's a bunch of brands making fun, interesting stuff...

I hear fantastic things about the Sunny Day Delay and the Disaster Transport..
And I do love the malekko 600D, just not with fuzzed-up bass..

I sort of want one, but seeing as I have about five delays at the moment I'm in no rush.
