That singer is almost worse than the guitar spin, just horrifying!

One point! And one point only. The hit got in by accident plus it was technically wanting. Continue!

Other guitarist has Prolines (?) on his Tele and seems to like them. I put something (Schallers?) on our singers Epi Blk Beauty when I was using it and really liked them. Spensive tho. And they do need tightening every few months or so. I had to use the toothpick trick to get them to stay in.

I've got gaffer on my Jag right now, but it doesn't allow for much movement, so I've been thinking about locks. What I like about tape, though, is that it keeps the strap from gettin twisted.

We're all pretty tame physically, but I get a little rough with my shit, mostly shaking it or jerking it around or pushing it against my amp.

My guitar on the other hand . . .

I had used Schallers for years after having a Dunlop one fall out of my Warwick years ago. The new Warwick/Dunlop version seems to hold a lot better.

These things don't strip out strap button holes on instruments; that's going to happen with any strap button you use regularly, and the angle the instrument sits on. Pull the screw out, put some toothpicks and woodglue in the hole, screw it back in and you're good.

Never had my strap fall off my guitar until I bought a guitar with straplocks. I'm sure there are better ones than the ones i have though, but if the screw doesn't unscrew itself, it being to fucking short anyway, the straps find a way out of 'em.

Actually, the reason I first bought strap locks was because the strap on the LP kept coming off. For awhile, I was sharing a guitar with the singer and bass player, passing it back and forth between songs. Came off every time.

Yeah, that didn't last long.

i've never used strap locks; i'm pretty stationary when i play (nowadays i'm usually on the sofa LOL) and my stage business is usually limited to a bit of pogoing to the beat a la Neil Young when i get excited, so i've never really needed them.

sometimes i use them. i prefer the dunlops...there're nice to have flush mounted in the guitar....works really well. gaff tape or those beer tab, or washers on a designated is fine by me.

Nope, but it's not the south either. And there are no Kölsches with "Büggelsche".
