I have some stickers on the back of my first bass, but I always get paranoid about putting them on my instruments. Cases on the other hand, whooeeeeeeeeee.

I have often written things in tape on the back of my guitars (because I am so hip), but this is my only actual stickering.

intonation  Great if your fingers are in the right spots  It actually works well enough to get a neck that isn't rubbery

I'm so confused. Is that a guitar or a six-string bass?

Fretless instruments remind me of my days playing trombone. Let me tell you, there's nothing like playing with your bone a little bit every day. Just recently I decided I wanted to play again, but it turns out my parents sold it. When I found out I had to pretend I wasn't disappointed. I want to get a fretless guitar, right after I get a 12-string and a baritone guitar and a 4003 and an AC30 and a bunch of pedals.

Got some nice ones.
Rat in Discharge gave me the Discharge sticker so that stays on. Duct tape hand grenade! Spiderman! Caprice Kir is a cheap black currant wine.

That reminds me of the quote Steve Bailey told at a master class, when he asked Jaco what's the key to playing fretless bass:

"The key to playing fretless bass, is to play it in tune."

It started it's life as this...

Then someone sold the body to Trading Musician... then I bought it.... filled in the trem hole and put a tele neck on it and some type of paf pickup... then I cut the horns, finished filling the trem rout with epoxy... chiseled the neck pocket for a bass neck.. The bass neck stated as a hohner neck that had a split fretboard that I found in a shop and i replaced the finger board [don't do this it is not fun] and was put on the first bass I built which was shaped like a rick 325 then removed do to it being tweaky... then I used it with a board for a body added piccolo bass strings and made a buzz bridge... finally we go back to where I chiseled the neck pocket for that neck, added two more tuners and strung it up in all kinds of ways... at this point it had a Jackson humbucker and a shitty EBO type of pickups... I then got sick again of the shitty neck and added the neck in the picture which is a cheap e-bay thingy... and then added the Teisco pickup. ATM it is in a box and is waiting for me to put a one-piece hondo P neck on it...

This is awesome.
