Every time I buy a couch strap put on my leather jacket/boots/pants and drive 50 miles in my leather interior'd hummer to this fancy steakhouse where I gorge myself on at least a cow worth of beef/steak.
It's awesome.

Ok only 1 of those things is true.

the bit at the end is secured by an extra long screw and a washer for support. solid as a rock, and it looks cool cuz its basically floating. but the leather bit pokes out and gets ground up a lot.

Weird, I like it floating off of the end :thumb:

Holy Schnikes wrote:Anyone purchased a strap from Couch? Lordy, these straps are superb, just received one for my bday and it's easily one of the coolest I've seen.

Not only solid construction and tasteful vintage vibe, but some of the "deadstock" materials they use are just mesmerizing. Mine is made of '60's Mustang trunk liner, cool gray/black plaid pattern. If you haven't already (which I'm sure many of you have), you should take a look at their selection.

I got the same one! It is sort of poofy. I wasn't expecting that, not that it is bad but it sort of wants to stay its own shape too, did yours stay that way or does it eventually seem more normal.

Yea, I noticed that too when I got it. It was sitting in my mailbox in a blizzard all day and when I opened it, really didn't seem like it wanted to move at all, frozen folded strap shape. I've been using it now for a month or so and it's normal now, just needed a break-in period I guess, and a thawing out in my case.

Holy Shit! I'd just be waiting for that thing to explode in my face every time I touched that Bigsby. Solid, huh?
