But well, now I know!
Think of the words 'donder' and 'bus'

I did my research and donderbus made more sense in modern Dutch
Cool name by the way!
My understanding is that the original word "Donderbus" (thunder pipe) was Dutch. The Blunder part (at the time being used like "to confuse") was not Dutch and was changed later, due to its reputation for being so loud that it caused disorientation. Probably one of those situations were a nickname eventually superseded the real name.

I'm convinced that I should just start sending you like $20 a month in anticipation of new win filled pedals...that way I wouldn't spend so much time scheming on how I am going to 1. get the money to buy one of these and 2. do it in such a way that the wife does not notice.

Will this cost a lot more than a regular V2 musket?

I shot over to the shop today, on my day off, and busted out a quick comparison video. It doesn't sound great, but if you've played a Musket before then it should at least give you a frame of reference for some of the differences. Some of the subtle splat and stuff is definitely lost. Anyway, hopefully it helps. We weren't planning on making a video for such a small run of pedals.

Awesome...I can totally hear the difference/similarities, I'm sure the subtleties in the attack/decay will come off better in person
...and fuck the haters (how can people be angry on new fuzz day?), keep on doing what you're doing

Hi Kyle! Is the Blunderbuss safe up to 18v like the V2 Muskets? Thanks!

I actually got it friday, but I didn't get a chance to play it until sat. night.
It is BETTER than the video!! (At least, I think it is.)
