Yeah I remember that, she also did the old hyp art and the HL and the new rocket. "random nudityO_o" is a good way to put it  Yeah some of that stuff isn't my thing... but I respect the artist non the less.

So Pedal sounded godly, bands played great, party was.....lame... it was a democratic party party, all old people...

Yeah, but you really should try out the bass di+ It's an awesome distortion/overdrive and its eq/boost section is really great into an amp.

For example:
http://venter.bandcamp.com/track/slipping-circle
All the Guitars and Bass in this demo go through that pedal and it's the main source of drive.

Really under-appreciated pedal for both guitar and bass in my opinion.

Hmm, you know, I just might give it a shot soon, thanks for that. I'm thinking about going passive [better fuzz sounds] so the EQ section has me interested... I gotta build that V bass first though.. so all in good time..

you have a TV200? you bastard... T-T
I am constantly wondering to save up money to pay for college or to buy a TV200 (or RV100)
I need to get something better because right now I have a SS 99$ Fender Frontman 25R and I have been playing for 5 years.

oh yeah and that sounded absolutely sexy. :thumb:

Do you want to go to college? Personally speaking I went to community collage and at the time didn't buy much gear... [well I did buy a new cab and dano, but a family member died and I was left with a bit of money, not much but enough to blow on gear, part of which had to go to having my SVT fixed :grumpy: ... :idk:   BUT because I was taking Marine carpentry my school had where every monday for a extra $100 a quarter you got 3-4 hours where you could build anything you wanted in the school main shop :thumb: and so I built... 3 basses and 2 guitars while I was there :thumb:
Also because of my training I have been able to keep a job [I build all the jigs] in the building trades through this whole economic BS and can buy most of the gear I want. Just food for thought...

Now is a TV200 the shit? yes, and I don't see myself buying another amp that can be called a guitar amp... even if I use the thing with bass most of the time  Really what I look for in a amp is A: it must be tube [sorry non tubers but I like what I like] B: "simple" and "oldschool" designs are always better to me. There are lot of good amps out there if you look like sunns, fender bandmasters and bassman 100s kill for effects but even now they keep going up in price :grumpy: Also ampeg made some great amps. My guitar amp for YEARS was a J-12T with a DOD Deathmetal distortion... I should do a demo of the EA through that as well now that I think of it.... I mean having a dream amp is great but first I think you have to work on your other dreams then tone... What I would do is hunt through Portland's Music stores and pawn shops and see what you can dig up cheap... :idk: Sorry about not being fun and all

I am stuck in a dilemma because once I set my sights on something it's quite hard to settle for second best. T-T
So basically I am not going to upgrade until I shave off enough cash bit by bit to buy a TV200* or a RV100.
Right now a friend is letting me borrow his Peavey 6505+ 112 until Monday and holy hell I need a tube amp.
They are so much more dynamic and responsive <3
(Do you have any experience with simulated mic outputs for recording. it's a Microphone Simulated Direct Interface MSDI)

EDIT: *because I naturally get bass I guess...the same way I guess I naturally get drums.
(others words not mine. I still know I'm not great at either one. but in a town where not many people,if any at all, play music I come off as some sort of pro. It sucks because I would rather be obviously novice in comparison and have to opportunity to learn and grow than be "awesome" when I'm really not.)

Simulated as in emulating/modeling? Personally I don't like it that much and with knowledge of EQ and compression you can do the same thing :idk: add a bit of room reverb and bob's your aunt...

Basically I think it might add a little but nothing ground shaking. Just about everything alters your sound and you have to decide what you need to be altered. Meaning; when you record direct with your "normal" input option what are you missing to your ears. After that is determined you look for the best fix for this, most of the time it is just a form of EQ curve...
