"Probably cost the same as the Disaster Transport." Pretty sure it's still $200.

The CR-7 is interesting.
I can't make anything I do with sound good, but a friend of mine makes it sound magical.
It's pretty weird.
Try one out and see what you think. I can't imagine it would be hard to get one used. Maybe you could save some $ that way?

That's kinda why I'm considering it. I stumbled across a pretty good deal on one. I think I may jump at it. It's not like I could resell it and get my money back.

Well I made the 1st of 2 purchases just now via Ebay

... now I just need to find an acceptable chorus. Lots a great ideas flowing through my head thanks to all of you. I'm waiting to hear back from a guy over at one of the less cool other forums. Apparently he doesn't want to sell his stuff as much as he says he does in his thread, because it's been like 4 days since I told him that I was interested in his wares. I may just move on and try to pick up a good deal on a CE-2. I just don't want to pay more than $80, otherwise I'd rather buy the BYOC chorus kit. The SCH-Z seems like a solid choice too.
