Got a small issue with my Vorpal boards. I need to iron it out. So that's out for right now.

Re: Who wants to do a group build?
I guess we'll be doing the Escobedo ring mod then!
Everyone interested, PM me. I'll get a list together and reply with a total for the kits.

Re: Who wants to do a group build?
Is there a layout already for the Escobedo circuit?
If not, I can whip one up in Eagle. Single-sided so I can friggin check that it actually works before they get made.
Should be a simple one to etch.

Re: Who wants to do a group build?
I built it on perf, but a PCB would be nice. If you don't mind!

It can be done. It's just not pretty unless you practice precise bending and soldering of the IC leads. The best way to deal with it is to "compromise" and have the IC on a tiny daughter board made from either perf or vero.
But I'll do a single-sided PCB layout for the etchers.

Re: Who wants to do a group build?
Oh I think he knows, FW, hence the ibanez reference
I would prob use a socket and bend the legs outward if I was trying to "ptp" it, which I've never tried with an IC.
