It. Was. An. Awesome. Show.

(Kind of thought that Cave In should have been the first opener though. In my opinion Russian Circles is a much better band.)

to be prepared - is any of them very noise oriented? because i do not enjoy listening to noise very much (now a half of the site hates me  )

No those are all more rock/metal oriented albums. If you wanted their noise stuff I'd have given you a different list.
But there will some elements of it on everything... it's part of who they are.

And no I don't hate you but you just made me die inside a little....

Kiding

They are not printed in the booklet and my japanese [which is horrid] is not good enough to understand much of anything he is singing... most of the time...

a new japanese film used a few BORIS' old songs as their soundtrack (it's kinda arty but featuring big name pop actors)
now i see the "cool-kids" posting BORIS' songs all over facebook... especially Rainbow...
good exposure and kudo to BORIS...
but man, i am confused.

I LIKED THEM FIRST!!!!!!

I know how you feel :idk:

Can't do anything about it, though. Boris are only going to get more popular...well, their more accessible stuff will anyway. I don't think like Flood will ever make it into the mainstream.

The one thing about them that is cool is I have feeling that is their "accessible stuff " get overly popular they are going to do somrthing that make Vein, Absolutego, Dronevil, Cloud Chamber and so forth look tame..... I hope

:thumb: I have found BORIS to be the best "technical" band i have seen this year {@ Great American Music Hall,SF} as far as Pedals,Musicianship, Insane drummer, Show stopping guitar solo by designated hitter 2nd tour guitarist*, did i mention pedal prowess,?,Hair, Sunn amplficated assault? Yah. REAL GOOD

Hnnng I want to see Boris.

I like Michio Kurihara and I'm a big fan of The Stars. They aren't well-known enough. If you're a fan of driving songs that throw you crazy-ass 4 minute psychedelic fuzzy breaks then they might be right up your alley.
