hell yes. i am acquainted with the guys in Dysrhythmia, and have picked up the two Krallice cds from Colin on Dysrhythmia tours through TX. some brilliant stuff happening on those discs. to say that is almost passé as "brilliant" is par for the music community Dysrhythmia, Krallice, Behold... the Arctopus, Time of Orchids, Orthrelm, etc. come from.

Growing up I always liked metal that had a healthy dose of accessibility and catchiness. Now I usually prefer it as filthy as possible. I guess that's what happens when you mature: you get old and crusty.

I do still really enjoy "pretty" stuff like Drudkh, Agalloch, and Empyrium though. That's my version of pop metal.

Um so randomly I really wish that i could stand kyuss's vocalist 98% of the time as instrumentally I love them.

This is so weird, seems like 98% of people I've played Kyuss, Unida, Hermano, etc. for absolutely adore Garcia's vocals, but the other 2% hate him. He's easily one of the greatest rock singers ever, and a nice dude to boot.

Why he doesn't control the entire world at this point is beyond me. IT BOGGLES THE MIND!!!
