If had to play only one guitar for the rest of my life, it would be a Jag (with single coils). The pickups probably won't be that great if you get a MIJ but Pickup Wizard makes amazing custom pickups for super cheap.
And remember, if it doesn't have a floating trem OR single coils, it's not a jag.

I love the MIJ Fender stuff in general. The 51 Precision RI and the Jaguar are both on the top of my list. We really need more MIJ Fender here in the U.S.

I am GASing so hard for a jag right now, im so tempted to blow my savings from my summer job for one

IS blacktop different than regular black? I'm pretty sure I've seen a black Jag bass before.
