I can't believe that no-one's spoken up for the Mid-Fi Clari(not) yet! Fuzz & slapback delay & insanity in one pedal! I can set mine to get a really cool "riding the whammy bar" sound that's perfect for strumming up a 'gazy wall of fuzz!

It makes me go: :yay:  :yay:  :yay:  :yay: :joy:

Devi Torn's Peaker vol @ unity gain (if you can find it) texture around 2-3 o'clock. single coil neck pickup guitar vol around 3 tone at 5ish. into a fast shallow flanger delay and a spring verb.

I'm sure if you stacked 2 Melxowtone 2s it'd get pretty gazey. I'm gonna borrow my guitarist's and couple it up with mine and see what happens!
Just the one alone is really shoegazey to my ears, but personally I find chord clarity to be hard to achieve with stacked effects.
Maybe I need more practice! :)*

And then it wouldn't even sound like shoegaze at all

I was gonna say, based off of what I've heard, it sounds pretty shoegazey alone. I bet if you put some sort of booster, or a Rat in front it'd get even more gain, but still retain the clarity. I can't wait to try mine. I'm going to go RRR (with gain maxed) -> Melx2. I bet I'll get pretty shoegazey. I was running it into my Hotcake yesterday and it was glorious  !!
